Past Events / Tours

Twice a year, BDC members meet at a location near a biofacility chosen for a tour by the members.  On day one of the day and a half meeting, presentations are heard regarding biofuel, biopower, and biochemical deployment updates.  Presentations are heard from USDA and DOE on current policy and from manufacturers involved in and on the leading edge of biofacility deployment.  On day two, a half day tour is made of a leading edge biofacility.  The exception was in 2011, when the meeting was held in Washington DC with USDA top officials as a way to initiate discussions to form a partnership between USDA and the pulp and paper industry.

In this section, you can revisit the locations, the agenda and presentations, and pictures of the tours made.
